The League of Math Wizards (LMW) co-organized the Campus-Based Statistics Quiz Bee on September 24, 2026, at the Small Ruminant Research Center.

The activity served as a pre-event activity for the month-long National Statistics Month Celebration, which will be held next month.

The competition was participated in by first-year students from different colleges of the campus.

At the end of the competition, Jay Eivhany Bautista, a BS Accountancy student from the College of Business, Accountancy, and Public Administration (CBAPA), secured first place. Jay Martinez, a BSE-Mathematics student from the College of Education, and Mark Anthony Ualat, a BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering student from the College of Engineering, placed second and third, respectively.

The three students will represent ISU-Echague in the Provincial Statistics Quiz Bee, which will be held next month.
